Four Js UK has the pleasure of announcing the 2007 Product Conference (Africa) at the Emperors Palace, Johannesburg where we will be showcasing the latest versions of the Genero suite of products.
Genero v2.10
An important milestone for Four J’s and the I-4GL developer community in general, due to the introduction of a new multiple dialog grammar to further improve and simplify the development of user interfaces.
Genero Web Client v2.10
Major work has been undertaken to the rendering engine of the Genero Web Client to support Multiple Dialogs, an AJAX framework and browser specific tuning. Standard configurations will be provided for ‘Web 2’(Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera) and ‘Mobile’(PDA, Smartphone).
Genero v2.20
Due for an Early Access Program in the spring this version offers GUI enhancements in both GDC and GWC including -Tree widget, Select lists, Hyperlinks, Media, SVG capabilities, Vista support, Improved layout predictability. In addition the Genero Web Client will have improved GDC compatibility and architecture enhancements to increase scalability and ease deployment/administration.
Genero Studio v2.0
Featuring improved ergonomics and a wizard driven Application Generator.
Genero db v3.8
Introducing AIX support, driver enhancements and improved compatibility with Informix, Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Genero Report Writer
This makes its entrance in the spring as an alpha release with a Stand-alone designer/viewer and new report generation as XML.
Genero Web Services v2.20
Enhancements to enable advanced low level web services with APIs to access XML and HTTP handlers. Validation of integration with Java, Microsoft .NET platforms and integration with SOA tools and Message Oriented Middleware.
