Genero Enterprise v6 introduces full support for Informix 15 (using CSDK 15), Oracle 26ai*, and SQL Server 2025*
Previously, Informix 15 could only be accessed via the older CSDK 4.50. This update comes with a new dbmifx_15 ODI driver, enabling faster, more reliable connectivity and taking full advantage of the latest Informix features.

The xml.CryptoKey class has been enhanced to support the Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA), a modern and efficient standard for creating secure digital signatures. New methods, generateEllipticCurveKey() and getEllipticCurveName() give developers the ability to generate and use elliptic curve keys.

Multiple modal windows over normal window
Multiple modal windows can now be viewed on top of the normal (non-modal) window, while the normal window continues to be displayed underneath. Each modal window is stacked on top, similar to any standard windowing system.
Chromebar design
Smoother user navigation and screen space optimization for users. Chromebar is hidden by default on Genero Desktop Client. Back button is built into the Chromebar.
Touch screen optimization
The components table, buttons, checkboxes and other widgets have been optimized for touchscreens and now offer visual feedback and improved ergonomics for handheld devices.
Easier navigation with a modern UX for window containers
Navigate easily between applications. SideBarRail, SideBarDrawer, Window List, Application List have been reviewed to include a start menu and a new quick close for application.
Anchor support
Anchor support in URL lets web applications track, control, and restore specific program states, allowing users to bookmark or navigate directly to a particular state within the app (GBC only).

The table element has been enhanced to make reports simpler and cleaner.
Dynamic sizing
Table now supports row spanning and dynamic layout in the sense that column width and row height are determined at runtime based on the cell content.
Improved cell property control
More fine granular control over cell properties, such as colors, fonts, borders, margin, padding has been added.

Authentication Delegation
With GIP 6, organizations can simplify and strengthen user access by delegating authentication to trusted external Identity Providers, such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, Google, or any OpenID Connect provider.
This allows users to sign in using familiar third-party credentials, while GIP continues to control authorization, roles, and scopes. The result is a streamlined login experience, easier integration with enterprise identity systems.
