As the world still navigates its way through the COVID pandemic, we chose to postpone our Riviera Maya event to next year in lieu of a virtual conference that would at least convey the same information and let you get on with your planning.
The silver lining on this cloud meant that we were able to cast the net much wide than ever before, resulting in quadruple the normal attendance. We kept the conference to just a few hours a day to minimize disruption to your work.
For those that didn’t catch my keynote speech, the “Back to the Future” theme describes the emergence of the “Low-Code” movement within which we squarely fit and how hopefully you will be able to benefit from it. This is an exciting development for our future prospects.
Some breakout sessions attracted hundreds, which is extremely encouraging news. That would frankly be difficult to reproduce at a physical event, where often rooms only permit 50-60 people.
Clearly for futue physical events we need to take this into account and maybe live stream or record sessions for those that cannot spare the time.
The conference wasn’t without its teething problems however as some speakers wrestled with an unfamiliar system and others incurred inexplicable sound issues from time to time. Thank you all for your indulgence and we promise to improve next time. The recordings should all be good.
The entire conference is available to playback if you wish to catch up on topics you missed or would like to revisit.
We hope you enjoyed it and expect to see you all next year in Mayakoba! Fingers crossed.
