Web portal solution

SMILE Web Portal, as it is known, is a self-service portal for government employees and vendors that decentralizes several core functions in the accounts department. Those functions are travel requests and reimbursements, time entry and leave requests, retrieve W2s, 1099s, and paychecks, as well as invoicing and payment processing for vendors.

Tight deadline

Systems & Methods Inc (SMI) contacted Four Js to help develop the portal. A close relationship developed between SMI and Four Js Professional Services leading to the project meeting its extremely tight 3-month deadline.

Broadening the user audience

The self-service approach of SMILE Web Portal exposes internal processes to a much broader audience, which frees the accounts department to focus on other core tasks. The portal was developed using Genero Browser Client (GBC), allowing users to access data from a browser anywhere.
