Prague, Czech Republic – March 12, 2018 – Czech food industry software specialist ComSTAR spol. s r.o. is ‘on a roll’ with its announcement of two important wins at Pekarna a Cukrana Klatovy a.s. and GoodMills s r.o.. Their ComSTARsoft ERP solution – designed for bakeries, pastry shops, mills, meat, and beverage producers – has been recently modernized using Genero Enterprise.

Bakery and confectionary producer Klatovy, is a Czech food-processing company with ISO 22000, HACCP and IFS certification. Based in the town of Klatovy, western Bohemia, it serves the whole region with bread, buns, rolls and confectionery. Their 360 employees work in three shifts and deliver principally to bakeries and retail chains. Their special non-perishable Linzer cookies are a feature of their “long shelf-life” value proposition, which is a growing part of their business.

ComSTARsoft supports all of Bakery and Confectionary Klatovy’s enterprise resource planning processes such as finance, wages, asset management, stock control, order processing, invoicing, logistics and transport.
A ComSTAR customer since 2000, Bakery and Confectionary Klatovy switched to their latest system in two phases. The first phase involved system analysis and preparation for the migration using trial data in late 2016. Users were trained to use the new graphical user interface and processes. The second deployment phase uses a new Software-as-a-Service delivery model exposing internal processes to field operations and customers via thin clients for increased productivity.

A member of the GoodMills Group – one of the largest flour mills in Europe – GoodMills Czechia has been a ComSTAR customer since 2003. In just two months during Autumn 2017, they succeeded in transforming their information system to ComSTAR’s new Software-as-a-Service model.
ComSTARsoft was rated as the best ERP system within the Group for its data mining capabilities.

GoodMills Czechia run on ComSTARsoft for all vital functions: finance including multicash e-banking, stocks, production, sales, expedition, transport, procurement, and spare parts purchases to name the most important ones. The system also facilitates transactions between international partners and customers using EDI.
GoodMills Czechia has annual revenues approaching 50 million USD and produces flour and feed as by-products for both B2B and B2C customers in their two wheat and rye mills in Litomerice, Bohemia and Kyjov, Moravia.
