Metrics supported in the GAS and proxies

Counter for total requests
Counts the total number of requests processed by GAS.
Counter for requests processed
Counts the number of requests processed by GAS, grouped by application, service, status, URL, and HTTP verb.
Counter for request retransmission
Counts the number of times a request has been re-transmitted.
Counter for DVM available timeout errors
Counts the number of times a DVM failed to start as reported by GAS.
Counter for invalid services (GWSProxy only)
Counts the number of times a service has been invalidated by GWSProxy.
Gauge for GAS information
Provides details about the GAS version, build, target platform, and build date.
Gauge for GAS status
Describes the running status metric for GAS, indicating if the service is up or down.
Gauge for pending requests
Counts the number of pending requests for applications or services managed by GAS.
Gauge for user agents connected
Counts the number of simultaneous user agents connected to GAS.
Gauge for DVMs running
Tracks the number of DVMs running for each application or service.
Gauge for file descriptors
Monitors the number of file descriptors opened by the GAS process.
Histogram metrics
Tracks request execution time and counts for applications, web services, and static files managed by GAS, using separate bucket sets to match each type’s typical latency profile.
