Users definition console

The DB Sync user management tool allows you create and modify users.

To start the DB Sync user definition console:
  1. Open the dbsync.html starter page in a browser: 
    http[s]://host:port/ua/web/dbsync_setup_server_config/dbsync.html
    For example:
    http://toro:6394/ua/web/dbsync_setup_server_config/dbsync.html

  2. Select Users control.

Important:

DB Sync users can only be created/dropped and associated to apps, when using the DB Sync direct mode. With GAS/GIP mode, the DB Sync system automatically creates DB Sync users and app association, the first time the DB Sync client app connects to the central DB Sync service. In the GAS/GIP mode, users can only be modified, but they cannot be dropped in the user console. If you need to drop users created in GAS/GIP mode for testing purpose, start the dbsync_user_conf program from the command line with the -x option.
