Set up DB Sync with GAS/GIP

The DB Sync framework is designed to integrate with GAS/GIP

This chapter explains how to set up the GAS/GIP with DB Sync.

Prepare the GAS for DB Sync
Configure GAS/GIP for DB Sync
Configure GIP for DB Sync
The GIP system must define the DB Sync administration user and configuration apps to be started from a web browser.
Set up the server configuration file
The DB Sync server programs need the configuration file to provide central database connection information and database schema file specification.
Create DB Sync system tables
The DB Sync framework needs specific SQL table to store DB Sync system data.
Set up the database schema file
The DB Sync system needs application SQL tables description to be provided in the database schema file.
Create DB Sync client apps
DB Sync client apps must be created from the DB Sync client app console and registered in the GIP system.
Create DB Sync users
End users using DB Sync client apps must be declared in GIP.
DB Sync GAS/GIP setup test
After doing all GAS/GIP setup tasks, let's test if the DB Sync service is responding.
