Add a specific setup-level environment variable

Environment variables set at the Specific level are stored in the setup defined by the GSTSETUPDIR environment variable.

All configurations which specify the same GSTSETUPDIR will have these environment variables set. Specific-level environment variables will overrride those set at the Global level, but can be overridden by those set at the Project level.

  1. Select Tools > Specific setup > Edit Build Rules.
The Build Rules Configuration dialog opens.
  2. Verify the correct language is selected from the Language combobox.
  3. Click the Variables tab.
  4. Click the add icon (+).
  5. Follow the instructions to Add or edit environment variables.
When you have finished, the environment variable displays under the Project folder.
  6. Click OK.
The Build Rules Configuration dialog closes.
