Environment variables and Project Manager

Environment variables define the environment used by the compiler and executables launched from Project Manager.

Where to set environment variables
An environment variable can be set in multiple places, inside and outside of Genero Studio. Where and when the environment variable is set is important.
Add a project-level environment variable
Environment variables set at the Project level are stored with the project (.4pw).
Add a specific setup-level environment variable
Environment variables set at the Specific level are stored in the setup defined by the GSTSETUPDIR environment variable.
Add a global-level environment variable
Environment variables set at the Global level are applied for the user on a single machine.
Display the current environment
Genero Studio computes the internal and environment variables for the selected node and displays them in the Output view.
