GDC support consolidates on the most recent version
Starting with Genero 5.00, the most recent version of the Genero Desktop Client will be the only supported version. It will work with all supported versions of FGLGWS and the GAS. Any bug fixes or feature additions will occur in this version only; older versions will no longer be maintained. For more information, see GDC 5.00 and Genero compatibility.
GDC rendering depends on the DVM version
For applications running on FGLGWS 3.21, GDC uses native rendering. For applications running on FGLGWS 4.01 or greater, the GDC uses Universal Rendering. For information on when the GDC uses Universal Rendering versus native rendering, see GDC 5.00 and Genero compatibility.
GDC Console group
Starting with GDC 5.00.05, within the Debug panel there is new labels separated by a dash which give the log level settings of the GBC in Universal Rendering mode. For more information, go to Console in the Debug panel.
Changes in earlier versions
Make sure to check the upgrade notes of earlier versions, to not miss changes introduced in maintenance releases. For more details, see GDC 4.01 upgrade guide.
