The GAS supports a new framework for collecting and storing metrics for integration with a monitoring platform such as Prometheus. See Monitoring the GAS with Prometheus.

Systemd service templates support User= and Group= directives for dispatcher processes on Linux systems, allowing you to specify the user and group that run the dispatcher process. See Systemd service template

The ACCESS_CONTROL element is supported in PROMETHEUS configuration to control access to the metrics endpoint. See PROMETHEUS and ACCESS_CONTROL
Retransmission requests are recorded in the uaproxy log. See
