Text Expression (textExpression)

The Text Expression property is used by the Page Number element to calculate a page number string using a PXML String expression.

If you set a value for the Text Expression property:

• This value overrides other formatting properties of the Page Number, such as Offset, and Format.
• The X-Size and Text properties are is still used to set the length of the Page Number box. However, if neither X-Size nor Text has a value, the Text Expression property determines the length. If the values for Text Expression, X-Size, and Text are not set, a default length is used.

This property does not have a default value.
