Configure for Android

The Android configuration allows you to run a program from Genero Studio and display it to your Android™ physical or virtual device.

Requirements

Java SDK. (Installed as part of Install and configure Java SDK and Android SDK)
Android SDK. (Installed as part of Install and configure Java SDK and Android SDK)
Either
- An Android emulator (Android Virtual Device) (Created as part of Display to an Android virtual device)
- An Android mobile device that runs a minimum of Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and is connected to the development machine via USB.
An internet connection for the first time you build an Android package. During this first build, an automated process will download and install Gradle with all necessary extensions into a directory in your user directory. Gradle is a project automation tool; find out more about Gradle at http://www.gradle.org.
