The fgl_report_selectPreview function determines whether the report
is shown in the previewer or written to a file on disk.
Syntax
fgl_report_selectPreview(
preview INTEGER )
- preview should be set to 0 (FALSE) or 1 (TRUE). When set to FALSE, the file
is generated on disk rather than being previewed.
Usage
Function to select preview mode.
This function sets the output to be shown in the previewer. Suitable to all output formats except
"Image". The appropriate software needs to be installed on the client:
- For PDF: Acrobat Reader (or any other PDF reader)
- For SVG: the Genero Report Viewer is a part of the Genero Desktop Client
- For RTF: Microsoft™ Word
- For XLS and XLSX: Microsoft Excel
- For OORTF: Open Office (or any free Office), Open Office Writer is sufficient
- For HTML and Browser: Any browser
