Overview Reference
Starting at 4.01.02
With the standard.playSound front call, the GDC now supports sound files provided by URIs that take the form of http or https and that exist on the Web or on a private server. It is no longer required to set up the sound file as a resource on the GAS or programmatically put the file on the client. For information on the standard.playSound front call, see the Genero Business Development Language User Guide.
Starting at 4.01.05
GDC supports setting webview permissions. When a webcomponent or UR application requests permissions, the GDC responds based on the selected permissions in the Webview permissions panel. For information on webview permissions, go to Webview Permissions.
Starting at 4.01.06
GDC is now based on QT6 and OpenSSLv3.

Because OpenSSL 1.1.1 goes EOL in September 2023, GDC will start using OpenSSL 3.0 LTS to get the latest security fixes.

Starting at 4.01.07

The GDC uses native rendering for applications delivered using the Genero 3.21 or Genero 3.10 infrastructure.
