Configure license reservation/shares on the client side

You can specify different license reservations and shares wherever you can configure a license controller configuration file and set the location of that file by using the FGLLICENSE or GRELICENSE environment variables.

Once you configure reservations or shares in the FLM, you have several options to have your users, applications, or Genero installations use a specific reservation or share.

Important:

Shared licenses are not supported in Genero installations prior to 3.21 running in compatibility mode with FLM 6. Trying to use a license share in compatibility mode will raise an error.
