xml.DomDocument.getFeature

Gets a feature for a DomDocument object.

Syntax

getFeature(
   feature STRING)
  RETURNING result STRING

feature is the name of the DomDocument feature.

Usage

Gets a feature for the DomDocument object, where feature is the name of the DomDocument feature.

Returns the value of the feature.

In case of error, the method throws an exception and sets the STATUS variable. Depending on the error, a human-readable description of the problem is available in the SQLCA.SQLERRM register. See Error handling in GWS calls (STATUS).
