xml.Serializer.SoapSection5ToVariable

Serializes an XML element node into a BDL variable in Soap Section 5 encoding.

Syntax

xml.Serializer.SoapSection5ToVariable(
   node xml.DomNode,
   var fgl-type )

node is a DomNode object of type ELEMENT_NODE.
var is any BDL variable with optional XML mapping attributes.

Usage

In case of error, the method throws an exception and sets the STATUS variable. Depending on the error, a human-readable description of the problem is available in the SQLCA.SQLERRM register. See Error handling in GWS calls (STATUS).
