com.TCPRequest.setTimeOut

Syntax

setTimeOut(
   seconds INTEGER )

1. seconds is the time out in seconds.

Usage

This method defines the time value in seconds to wait for a reading or writing operation, before a break.

If the time out is -1, waits infinitely.

In case of error, the method throws an exception and sets the STATUS variable. Depending on the error, a human-readable description of the problem is available in the SQLCA.SQLERRM register. See Error handling in GWS calls (STATUS).
