Encode a license string

If you are not provided with a license string, you can take your license number, license key, maintenance or subscription key, and login and generate a license string using the fglWrt command.

  1. Open a command prompt.
    • On Windows®, open the Command Prompt from the Start menu .
    • On Linux®/UNIX®/macOS™, open a command prompt. "sudo" may be required.
  2. Type fglWrt --encode-license-string license_number license_key [ maintenance_key | subscription_key ] login
    For example:
    fglWrt --encode-license-string TAB#XXXXXXXX AAAAAAAAAAAA BBBBBBBBBBBB mynam

This command generates a license string, which can be used in license installation or updating.
