Configure compatibility for Genero prior to 3.21

To make your Genero 3.20 or Genero 3.10 installation compatible with FLM 6.00, you must upgrade the license controller to version 6.00 and configure the Genero installation to run in compatibility mode. To use a subscription license with your Genero 3.20 and 3.10 installation, FLM 6.00 is required; therefore, upgrading the license controller and configuring the Genero installation to run in compatibility mode is also required.

You must configure compatibility for the following reasons:
  • To make a Genero 3.20 or 3.10 installation compatible with Four Js License Manager (FLM) 6.00.
  • To use subscription licensing with a Genero 3.20 and 3.10 installation.
Important:

At this time, you can configure compatibility for Genero 3.20 and 3.10 installations.

Important: Genero Report Writer for Java, C#, and PHP

For more information on compatibility with 6.00 licensing tools, refer to the Install and License Genero Report Writer manual.
