A summary of new features and changes in functionality introduced with Genero Application Server for Java (JGAS) 5.00.

JGAS is now provided in a separate standalone archive (zip); it is no longer provided in the FGLGWS bundle. JGAS can now be downloaded from the Download page of the Four Js Web site and installed to a local directory of your choice. See
A Jetty web server is no longer embedded in the JGAS, and the standalone JGAS used for executing applications is no longer available. For development environment testing, you need a separate GAS installation or Java Enterprise Edition container such as Apache Tomcat® (version 10 or greater), Jetty, or Glassfish, to access your applications and services via a browser. JGAS is now built with support for Java Development Kit (JDK) 17. See Java version 17 required

This release does not include any new features.
