Launch the Report Designer
Launch the Report Designer from the Genero Studio for Report Writer main menu or the Projects view.
To open the Report Designer, do one of the following:
- In the Projects view, doubleclick an existing report design document (4rp).
- Create a report by selecting from the Genero Studio for Report Writer main menu and then selecting one of the
options:
- Empty Report creates a blank report.
- List Report creates a table-formatted list report.
Tip:Before you can use a new empty or list report, you must select the data schema (rdd) on the Data View tab.
- Create a report from an existing template.
