Genero Studio provides integrated documentation. You can launch context-sensitive documentation by pressing the F1 key.
Accessing help
To access Help:
- Select the menu option.
- Click the Help toolbar icon.
- Press the F1 key.
Filtering the Search results
The Filtered by combobox allows you filter search results by the selected filter.
By default, the filters are named for the supported languages.To only return topics that are part of the the Genero Report Writer Java API, for example, you would select the Java development filter.
Important: The Genero Report Writer for Java, C#, PHP, and Swift User
Guide is always
present in the default filters to avoid breaking the F1 help, which often redirects to this manual.
To exclude the Genero Report Writer for Java, C#, PHP, and Swift User
Guide from the
results, you must either edit the filter definition or create your own filters.
Creating and editing filters
To create new filters or modify existing filters, select and click on the tab. From this page, you can add a new filter, modify a filter, or remove a filter. The Attributes panel provides checkboxes for excluding one or more manuals.
