Run the OrderReportJava report demo

Follow these steps to view the Java demo application.

Before you begin:

Configure Genero Studio for Java. See Configure Genero Studio for Java.
Install Adobe® Reader (or a similar PDF reader application).

Run the demo to verify your installation and configuration, prior to creating your own report application.

Set the Java configuration as active. For further information, see Change the active configuration.
On the Welcome Page tab, click OrderReportJava.
The OrderReportJava.4pw project opens in the Projects view.
Select Debug >> Execute to execute the application.
The application executes, and the Order Report form displays.
In the form, select a report to display from the Report combobox. Keep Output As set to PDF, and click Preview.
The report displays as a PDF file.

At the end of this procedure, a report displays. If the report does not display, you must identify the issue before you attempt to create your own report.
