Print a report from the client

Print a report from your client-side printer.

To send a report to a client-side printer, specify the SVG format (fgl_report_selectDevice("SVG")) and call the fgl_report_configureSVGPreview() function with one of these options:

ShowPrintDialog

Pops up the print dialog, allowing the user to select and configure a printer.

PrintOnDefaultPrinter

Prints the report silently on the default printer.

PrintOnNamedPrinter

Prints the report silently on a specific printer.

If you specify "PrintOnNamedPrinter", you can configure the named printer using these functions:

• fgl_report_setSVGPrinterName()
• fgl_report_setSVGPageRange()
• fgl_report_setSVGPaperSource() - available only on Windows®
• fgl_report_setSVGCopies()
• fgl_report_setSVGSheetCollate()
