Configure for Ghost Client

How to configure your Studio environment to use the Genero Ghost Client (GGC).

About this task

This procedure properly configures your Java SDK environment set in Genero Studio, allowing the GGC to use Java.

Before you begin:
The Java Development Kit (JDK) is installed. See the Install Ghost Client topic in the Genero Application Server User Guide.
Note: JDK is automatically configured if you provide details of the JDK installation at Studio installation time.
Important: Before you can run scenarios with the GGC in Studio, you need to verify that the "Java SDK" environment set is configured as described in the next steps.
  1. In Studio select Tools > Genero Configurations to display the configurations.
  2. Select the "Java SDK" environment set.
  3. Set your PATH environment variable to include the JDK bin directory.
  4. Set your CLASSPATH environment variable to the absolute path to the ggc.jar and fgl.jar files.
Image shows the Studio Genero Configuration Management screen with the Java SDK environment set selected.
