GGC 5.00 upgrade guide
These topics describe product changes you must be aware of when upgrading to version 5.00.
This is an incremental upgrade guide that covers only topics related to the Genero Ghost Client version specified in the page title. Check prior upgrade guides if you migrate from an earlier version. If you are migrating your test scenarios, make sure you compile with this version. Make sure to also read about the new features for this version.

Changes to GGC delivery
Starting with version 5.00, the GGC is no longer embedded in the FGLGWS package. Its installation path is no longer in the $FGLDIR/testing_utilities/ggc directory.
The GGC is now provided in a separate standalone archive (zip).
Where before you did not need to install the GGC, you now need to download the GGC package from the Download page of the Four Js Web site and install it to a local directory of your choice. For installation details, go to Install Genero Ghost Client.
Changes to how the BDL server is started
Starting with version 5.00, the BDL server no longer starts automatically when running a BDL test
scenario. The BDL server must now be started manually with the command ggcadmin
startbdlserver
before tests can be run. For an example, go to Quick Start: Generate and execute a test scenario.
Changes in earlier versions
Make sure to check the upgrade notes of earlier versions, to not miss changes introduced in maintenance releases. For more details, see GGC 4.01 upgrade guide.
