GGC 4.00 upgrade guide
These topics describe product changes you must be aware of when upgrading to version 4.00.
This version of GGC is desupported, use a more recent version of the product.
This is an incremental upgrade guide that covers only topics related to the Genero Ghost Client version specified in the page title. Check prior upgrade guides if you migrate from an earlier version. If you are migrating your test scenarios, make sure you compile with this version. Make sure to also read about the new features for this version.

Migrating from GGC 2.x to 4.x
Test scenarios created with GGC 2.x can be replayed with GGC 4.x.
Changes in earlier versions
Make sure to check the upgrade notes of earlier versions, to not miss changes introduced in maintenance releases. For more details, see GGC 2.00 upgrade guide.
Notable changes introduced in maintenance releases:
- The
--check-as-failure
parameter to treat check failure as scenario failure was added to the ggcadmin tcp/ua (Java) and the GGC scenario program (BDL) command. This parameter is also available since GGC 4.00.01. - The introduction of the parameter
--dvm-available
to configure the DVM available timeout for the ggcadmin tcp (Java) and the GGC scenario program (BDL) command. This feature is also available since GGC 4.00.04.
