Install and configure for Genero Ghost Client
The Genero Ghost Client is embedded in the FGLGWS package. No additional installation is required, however configuration may be necessary.
Note: The Genero Ghost Client is also integrated with Genero Studio. See the Genero Studio User Guide for
details.
The GGC is embedded in the FGLGWS package in the $FGLDIR/testing_utilities/ggc directory.
To use Genero Ghost Client API, you need a Java Development Kit (JDK). Make sure that your JDK version is at least version 8 or greater.
Configure for Genero tests
At a command prompt, navigate to FGLDIR and execute the script to set the environment.
Note: CLASSPATH, PATH, and FGLLDPATH are set for the GGC by the envcomp script
- On Linux®/UNIX™/macOS™ execute envcomp.sh
- On Windows®, execute envcomp.bat
Configure for Java
Set JAVA_HOME environment variable to the Java Development Kit (JDK) directory. Set PATH
environment variable to include the JDK bin directory. For example, type one of
the following sets of commands.
- On Linux/UNIX/macOS:
export JAVA_HOME=~/Tools/java/jdk-11.0.1; export JDK_HOME=${JAVA_HOME}; export PATH=${JAVA_HOME}/bin:${PATH}
- On Windows:
set JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-11.0.1 set JDK_HOME=%JAVA_HOME% set PATH=%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%PATH%
