Environment settings
Before starting to program with Genero BDL, make sure you have the correct environment settings.
Genero BDL is a licensed product. Make sure that your Genero installation has a valid license installed. Check the How Genero Licensing Works book for more details about licensing.
When using Genero Studio, check the GST options panels for the various environment settings to be defined.
When using Genero from the command line, check the environment variables in your current terminal session. For more details about environment settings, read the Configuration sections in the Genero Business Development Language User Guide, and in the Genero Studio User Guide.
It is important to understand locale and character set concepts, read the Defining the locale topic for more details.
