Genero compatibility for GMA

Determine the compatibility of different versions of the Genero product family and Genero Mobile for Android (GMA).

Warning:

GMA 1.40 and GMA 4.01 are no longer supported.

GMA 5.00 and Genero compatibility

When using Genero Mobile for Android (GMA) 5.00, ensure the other Genero components are based on compatible versions.

GMA 5.00 uses the Genero 5.00 development environment (it requires FGLGWS 5.00 to compile the app). The runtime embedded in the latest GMA 5.00 is the latest FGLGWS 5.00; therefore, the GMA is compatible with the latest FGLGWS included in its package.

Where the mobile client application is using runOnServer, GMA 5.00 is compatible with:
  • FGLGWS 5.00 (latest version) + GAS 5.00
  • FGLGWS 4.01 (latest version) + GAS 4.01
