Install BDL license with user interface (internet)
You can license a Genero Business Development Language (BDL) product using the Genero
licensing user interface.
Internet is required
Before you begin: Internet
access is required to activate the license; a temporary installation does not require
internet.
Launch the Genero licensing graphical interface:
It may launch automatically when you finish installing your product.
From within the Genero Studio product interface, launch it from the Tools > Genero Tools menu.
From the desktop select the Genero BDL Licenser tool from your Four Js program
list.
The licensing page opens in a Web browser.
Enter the license details.
You can use the license string, or you can use the combination of the license number and
license key.
To use the license string, enter the license string and click Install
License.
Important: If you are not provided with a license string,
you can generate a license string from your license number, license key, maintenance key, and login.
For instructions on how to create a license string, see Encode a license string.
To use the combination of license number and license key, enter the license number, the
license key, and either the maintenance key or the customer code; then click
Install License.
Register the license
If your access to the internet is through a proxy, select the Network proxy
settings checkbox and enter the details.
Enter the customer code (if not already entered) and click Activate
License.
Your product is now fully licensed. In the DESCRIPTION
field you see your maintenance key is valid until the date displayed after End of
maintenance date.
When finished, click QUIT to log out and close the licensing
application.
