Encode a license string

If you are not provided with a license string, you can take your license number, license key, maintenance key, and login and generate a license string using the fglWrt command. If you are using the Four Js License Manager (FLM), use the flmprg command.

  1. Start the command line interface.
    Open a command prompt.
    • On Linux®/UNIX®/macOS™, open a command prompt. "sudo" may be required.
    • On Windows®, open the Command Prompt window from the Start menu.
  2. Type fglWrt --encode-license-string license_number license_key maintenance_key login
    For example:
    fglWrt --encode-license-string TAB#XXXXXXXX AAAAAAAAAAAA BBBBBBBBBBBB mynam

This command generates a license string, which can be used in license installation or updating:
