Install GRE license from the command line

Without internet access, you can register the license with Four Js from another machine via the internet, or by phone. Then license your Genero Report Engine (GRE) product using the command line tool, greWrt.

  1. At the command line enter the command: 
    greWrt -l
  2. When prompted, enter the license number.
  3. When prompted, enter the license key.
    An installation number is generated and is displayed in the output.
  4. At the prompt: 
    Do you want to continue using HTTP ? (y/n)
    Enter: n
  5. At the prompt: 
    Enter your maintenance KEY (Empty to continue) >
    Enter the maintenance key.

Register the license

  1. To register the license go to the License your products page on the Four Js web site. See the procedure described in Register license on Four Js website

    Having registered your license, you have the installation key.

  2. At the prompt: 
    Enter the installation KEY (call your vendor to obtain it) >
    Enter the installation key.
