Install a local license from the command line

To license the Genero Report Writer, you can license the Genero Report Engine from the command line.

You must have internet access.

You must have a valid license number and license number key.

GREDIR must be set to the Genero Report Writer installation directory.

PATH must include <GREDIR>/bin.

  1. From the command line, execute greWrt -l
  2. Enter your license number and license number key. An installation number key is generated. You have 30 days to enter the installation number key.
  3. Enter the installation number key with the command greWrt -k installation-number-key. The Genero Report Engine is licensed.
At this point, you need to install a maintenance key.
