With the standard.playSound front call, the GDC now
supports sound files provided by URIs that take the form of
http or https and that
exist on the Web or on a private server. It is no longer required to set
up the sound file as a resource on the GAS or programmatically put the
file on the client. |

| GDC supports setting webview permissions. When a webcomponent or UR application requests permissions, the GDC responds based on the selected permissions in the Webview permissions panel. | For information on webview permissions, go to Webview Permissions. |

| GDC is now based on QT6 and OpenSSLv3. Because OpenSSL 1.1.1 goes EOL in September 2023, GDC will start using OpenSSL 3.0 LTS to get the latest security fixes. |
