GDC 4.00 upgrade guide
This section describes differences you may encounter when upgrading to Genero Desktop Client (GDC) 4.00.
This is an incremental upgrade guide that covers only topics related to the Genero Desktop Client version specified in the page title. Check prior upgrade guides if you migrate from an earlier version. Make sure to also read about the new features for this version.

Universal Rendering
Starting with Genero 4.00, Universal Rendering is the sole rendering option for Genero Enterprise front-ends. The ability to select a rendering option has been removed from all GDC configuration dialogs. See Differences between GDC-Native and GDC-UR.
Changes in earlier versions
