GAS monitoring alarms reference

Reference information for monitoring alarms.

Alarms are grouped into the following types:

Table 1. These alarms report failures, such as DVM crashes, failures to start or connect, and request/response errors. You can set these to report configuration or network issues.
Table 2. These alarms calculate the time taken to start a DVM and process requests. They measure request frequencies, averages, and real time. You can set these to report network issues.

The GAS raises alerts if the default threshold is met or exceeded.

DVM_CRASH	Reports a DVM (fglrun process) crash.	1
DVM_NOT_STARTED	Reports when a DVM has not started.	1
DVM_NOT_CONNECTED	Reports when a DVM has not connected to the GAS in the time allowed by the `DVM_AVAILABLE` timeout.	1
REQUEST_ERROR	Reports a request error.	1
RESPONSE_ERROR	Reports a response error.	1
