ALERT_SCRIPT

The ALERT_SCRIPT element specifies a script to be executed when the GAS raises a monitoring alarm.

Syntax

<ALERT_SCRIPT> ... </ALERT_SCRIPT>

This element is optional.

Child elements

There are no child elements.

Usage

If you are monitoring Web services, you can use this element to set the absolute path to a script to be executed when the GAS raises an alarm. For example, the script may notify the GAS administrator by email with details of the alarm raised.

If the ALERT_SCRIPT element is omitted, data is logged in any case to the monitoring data file.
