This Quick Start illustrates the steps needed to authorize access for a group of users.

Enable the GIP on a GAS

The Genero Identity Provider (GIP) must be configured and enabled before it can be used - see Setting up the Genero Identity Provider.

Authorize access to a group

Figure 1 shows a high level view of the different steps needed to configure access to applications and Web service deployed and secured by the GIP. To use the GIP efficiently, you need to create groups with the scopes (authentication and access permissions) needed by users. The topics provide details of this configuration.
