The app console toolbar

Applications can be created and modified using the toolbar options:



App toolbar options are:

  • New app: Create a new application.

  • Modify: Modify an existing application.

  • Delete: Delete the application selected in the table.

  • Register: Registers the app in the Genero Identity Provider (GIP).

  • Un-Register: Unregisters the application in the GIP.

  • Config: Opens the DBSync Source to modify the source configuration parameters.

  • Tables: Links tables to the application. For more information, go to Associating tables to apps.

  • Permissions: Sets the INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE permissions for the application tables. For more information, go to App/Table permissions.

  • Clear filters: Clears all filters associated with a table.

Create a new app

To create new app in the DB Sync client app configuration tool:

  1. Click New app in the toolbar.

  2. Enter the App ID/Name and Description.

  3. Click Accept.

  4. Click Register in the toolbar, the register the app in the GIP.
    Note:

    In direct mode, the apps do not need to be registered in GAS/SSO/GIP. Consequently, the The SSO Client ID column is left empty.

  5. Select an option from the Scope Selection window and click OK
