Hi,

where can I find the example used in the manual. I have installed the windows version but it did not create a My Documents\My Genero Files\ samples\Reports folder?

The samples are created the first time you start Studio. Once started, click on "Reports' in the welcome page and it will open the reports sample project.

... and if you edit them too much and want the originals, you can find them in GSTDIR/samples.  (don't edit GSTDIR/samples, just copy them)

Thanks for the reply.

I only installed the report designer and not Studio as I do not use Studio.

Out of curiousity, any particular reason why not?

Hi Reuben,

old school to be honest for over 25 years I have used a text editor and black screen to edit my source code, BASIC/COBOL/ 4GL and
now 4JS.
